This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 4000000 (ie INR 40 LPA) Min Experience: 5 years Location: Hyderabad JobType: full-time We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will own and scale cloud infrastructure for high-performance, distributed systems serving millions of users. This role is ideal for someone with deep AWS expertise, a strong automation mindset, and the ability to drive end-to-end infrastructure solutions independently. You will play a critical role in building resilient, scalable, and secure platforms while collaborating closely with engineering and product teams. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and manage robust cloud infrastructure on AWS with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security Architect and maintain core AWS services including VPC, EC2, EKS (Kubernetes), RDS, Elasticache, S3, CloudFront, Route53, API Gateway, Lambda, and Kinesis Streams Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker, Helm Charts, and Kubernetes Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to enable fast, reliable deployments Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform for repeatable and auditable environments Support high-throughput, low-latency systems with effective caching, load balancing, and event-driven architectures Work with columnar databases such as ClickHouse or similar systems to support analytics and large-scale data workloads Design and maintain SaaS-to-on-prem deployment replicas, including automation for both containerized and non-containerized environments Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and drive root-cause resolution Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure decisions with product and business goals What Makes You a Great Fit 5+ years of DevOps experience, including 3+ years in a senior or lead capacity Strong, hands-on expertise in AWS cloud architecture (mandatory) Proven experience working with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Helm in production environments Deep understanding of CI/CD best practices, with hands-on experience using GitHub Actions Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, and NodeJS, with development experience as a plus Experience scaling distributed systems to support large user bases and high-traffic workloads Solid understanding of caching strategies, load balancing, and high-volume data pipelines Demonstrated experience building and maintaining SaaS-to-on-prem solutions Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to drive solutions independently Clear communicator who works effectively with engineering, product, and leadership teams
