This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 1000000 - Rs 3000000 (ie INR 10-30 LPA) Min Experience: 2 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time We are seeking a Quant Developer to join a core engineering team focused on building and scaling research and trading infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in enabling faster, more efficient development of systematic strategies by delivering robust, scalable software systems. You will work closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and risk teams to support the full lifecycle of research, trading, and portfolio management. This is a high-impact role offering strong ownership, deep learning opportunities, and direct exposure to quantitative trading workflows. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance research platforms to accelerate systematic strategy development. Build and maintain scalable applications and internal tools using Python . Design, optimize, and manage databases supporting quantitative models and trading systems. Collaborate with quants and traders to implement models, strategies, and risk frameworks. Develop and optimize data pipelines to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability. Support production systems used for research, backtesting, and live trading. Skills & Qualifications 2–6 years of experience as a Quant Developer or Software Engineer , preferably in financial services or quantitative environments. Strong proficiency in Python for building production-grade systems. Hands-on experience with database design and management (SQL and/or NoSQL). Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work closely with quantitative teams and translate research needs into scalable software solutions.
