The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, a student-centric teaching approach, and proven experience in handling secondary-grade CBSE classrooms. This role demands dedication to academic excellence, student development, and effective classroom engagement. The English Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction aligned with CBSE standards, preparing students for board examinations, and nurturing critical thinking, communication, and language skills. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons for Grades 9 and 10 in accordance with the CBSE curriculum Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments that meet academic objectives Teach grammar, literature, writing skills, comprehension, and spoken English effectively Prepare students for CBSE examinations through structured revision plans, practice tests, and feedback Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and class participation, and maintain accurate academic records Provide individualized support to students to enhance learning outcomes and address academic gaps Encourage classroom discussions, debates, and activities to improve language fluency and confidence Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and areas of improvement Participate in staff meetings, academic planning sessions, training programs, and school events Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, teaching methodologies, and best practices in English education Eligibility Criteria Gender: Female candidates only Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in English or a related field B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – Mandatory Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school Experience teaching Grades 9 & 10 is highly preferred Age Limit: Maximum 45 years Required Skills & Competencies Strong teaching and classroom management skills Excellent command over written and spoken English Ability to simplify complex concepts and engage students effectively Experience with CBSE examination patterns and assessment methods Good interpersonal and communication skills Patience, empathy, and a student-focused mindset Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school management
