This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 500000 (ie INR 4 - 5 LPA) Min Experience: 1 years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time We are seeking a Makerspace Lab Incharge to manage day-to-day operations of a hands-on innovation and fabrication lab where students engage in design, prototyping, and experiential learning. This is a lab operations and support role , focused on maintaining tools, equipment, and materials rather than classroom instruction. The ideal candidate has strong practical experience working with manufacturing-grade tools and workshop environments. Key Responsibilities Operate, maintain, and oversee tools, machines, and materials used in the Makerspace Lab. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of all equipment. Manage inventory of tools, consumables, and raw materials; track usage and replenishment. Support students and faculty by guiding safe and correct usage of lab equipment. Assist with setup, teardown, and day-to-day operational needs of student projects. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machines and tools. Maintain a clean, organized, and functional workshop environment. Requirements Proven hands-on experience working with manufacturing-grade tools and machinery. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude. High attention to detail with a strong focus on safety and organization. Prior experience in a workshop, fabrication unit, prototyping lab, or school Makerspace is preferred. Education Diploma or Degree in a technical, vocational, or engineering discipline (preferred).
