This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 1000000 - Rs 1500000 (ie INR 10-15 LPA) Min Experience: 3 years Location: Chennai, Coimbatore, Kochi JobType: full-time We are seeking a talented  Frontend Developer  who is passionate about building intuitive, scalable, and high-performance web applications. In this role, you will work with modern JavaScript frameworks and a strong TypeScript foundation to deliver elegant user interfaces that meet high standards of quality, usability, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform product ideas into polished, production-ready experiences. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain responsive web interfaces using  TypeScript  and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte Write clean, modular, and reusable code that follows best practices and frontend standards Build and maintain  unit and end-to-end tests  using tools like Vitest and Cypress to ensure code reliability Optimize UI performance while ensuring accessibility, usability, and cross-browser compatibility Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver cohesive solutions Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of frontend architecture and workflows Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve UI and performance issues efficiently Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies, tools, and best practices What Makes You a Great Fit 3–6 years of hands-on experience in frontend development with a strong focus on modern JavaScript ecosystems Solid proficiency in  TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 , with a deep understanding of responsive design principles Practical experience with at least one major frontend framework such as  React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte Strong background in frontend testing, including unit and E2E testing using  Vitest and/or Cypress Familiarity with modern build tools, version control systems, and frontend workflows Good understanding of UI performance optimization and frontend best practices Exposure to component libraries, design systems, and accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus Experience working in Agile teams and CI/CD environments is advantageous Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences
