This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: $130k - $180k Experience: 5+ YoE Overview: Join a passionate founding team and work closely with the leadership to design and deliver highly scalable systems that transform the LLM developer experience. This is a rare opportunity to shape a product from inception, influence its technical direction, and make a significant impact on the future of AI observability. Key Responsibilities Feature Development : Design, develop, and implement new features to enhance the platform and improve developer experience. Backend & Frontend Services : Frontend: Next.js, Tailwind CSS Proxy worker: Wrangler/Cloudflare Application database: Supabase Analytics database: ClickHouse Backend services: Express/AWS ECS Queue systems: Kafka End-to-End Ownership : Manage projects from ideation to deployment and post-launch optimization. Deployment & Operations : Oversee deployment workflows and ensure smooth, reliable system operations. Collaboration : Work on feature requests, integrations, and documentation enhancements to improve usability. Community Engagement : Gather user feedback, encourage contributions, and iterate on the product based on real-world use cases. Preferred Skills TypeScript Expertise : Strong experience in TypeScript (core to the majority of the codebase). Database Knowledge : Proficiency with SQL and similar technologies, with experience in ClickHouse, Supabase, and Postgres. Cloud Services : Familiarity with cloud deployment workflows; experience with Cloudflare is advantageous. Problem-Solving & Communication : Ability to simplify complex problems and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Adaptability : Quick learner who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment. AI Knowledge : Solid understanding of LLMs and the AI ecosystem. Hands-On Product Familiarity : Prior use of the platform is preferred to bring valuable user insights into development.
