This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 450000 - Rs 700000 (ie INR 4.5 - 7 LPA) Min Experience: 3 years Location: pune JobType: full-time The Manager – Placement will lead and manage placement partnerships for the assigned location. This role focuses on building strong industry relationships, enabling successful job placements, tracking outcomes, and supporting beneficiaries in achieving sustainable livelihoods aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Partnership Development & Employer Engagement Identify, develop, and nurture partnerships with employers, industry bodies, recruiters, and organizations to create robust placement opportunities. Build and maintain long-term relationships with hiring partners through regular engagement. Organize and manage employer visits, job fairs, recruitment drives, and employer connect initiatives. Negotiate and formalize placement tie-ups and MoUs with employers. Conduct employer due diligence prior to onboarding new partners. Placement Operations & Team Enablement Lead and support the placement team to achieve placement targets. Conduct regular training and capability-building sessions for the placement team. Monitor team performance and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement. Support center managers in maintaining strong focus on youth placements and outcomes. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting Define and track placement KPIs to assess effectiveness and impact. Monitor placement outcomes and ensure quality and sustainability of placements. Prepare detailed reports on placement activities, achievements, and challenges for internal and external stakeholders. Maintain accurate documentation of placements, employer engagements, and success stories. Advocacy & Outreach Represent the organization at forums, conferences, and stakeholder meetings related to employment and workforce development. Develop and maintain a structured calendar for job drives and employer engagement activities. Candidate Profile Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Social Work, Human Resources, or a related field. Experience 4+ years of experience in Placements, Corporate Relations, or Employer Engagement, preferably within the social or development sector. Strong understanding of vocational education, employment programs, and labor market trends. Skills & Competencies Proven ability to build and manage employer partnerships across industries. Strong knowledge of employer requirements and best practices in placement and career services. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English is mandatory. High empathy, patience, and commitment to empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds. Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong on-ground problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and work independently. Willingness to travel extensively across project locations. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
