This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 2500000 (ie INR 5-25 LPA) Min Experience: 6 years Location: Remote (India), Bengaluru, Karnataka, NCR, Pune, Mumbai JobType: full-time We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow SAM Specialist to manage, govern, and optimize software assets using the ServiceNow platform. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working on software license compliance, cost optimization, and advanced SAM Pro configurations while collaborating across multiple business functions. Role Overview Hands-on ownership of ServiceNow SAM Pro modules and configurations. Manage software license compliance and support vendor audits (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, and other major publishers). Drive license optimization , renewals, and cost-saving initiatives. Oversee end-to-end software asset lifecycle management , from procurement to retirement. Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics for leadership visibility. Develop and support integrations and automations using JavaScript and REST/SOAP APIs. Collaborate closely with IT, Finance, Procurement, and Legal teams to ensure governance and alignment. Required Skills & Experience 6+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow . Strong practical expertise in ServiceNow SAM Pro . Solid knowledge of ServiceNow scripting , JavaScript , and platform APIs. Good understanding of ITIL processes and software licensing models. Experience working on compliance, audits, and optimization initiatives.
