About the Role Our client is a global industrial leader operating in over 100 countries, known for its advanced manufacturing footprint and commitment to driving digital innovation across its factories and supply chain. They are currently undergoing one of the most significant ERP and operational technology transformations in their industry to modernize systems, improve efficiency, and enable next-generation operations. We are looking Regional Technical Process Owner (rTPO) to support a major, multi-year digital transformation program modernizing core ERP, manufacturing, and operational technologies across Europe. This role is central to ensuring technical consistency, smooth deployment, and high-quality integration as the organization transitions to SAP S/4HANA and complementary Best-of-Breed (BoB) applications. The rTPO acts as a key technical bridge between Business Process Owners, Functional Experts, and Digital implementation teams—shaping solutions, guiding deployments, and ensuring the stability of both new and legacy systems throughout the transformation journey. Location: Hybrid model based in Budapest, Hungary (first 100% onsite, later 2-3 days/week) Contract: Long-term contract (no benefits, medical, PTO...) Mandatory experience: SAP SD Responsibilities Act as regional SAP SD expert for Order-to-Cash: pricing, billing, delivery, shipping, customer master, returns. Drive Fit-to-Template workshops and define SD requirements with business teams. Validate integration with MM, FI, EDI, logistics systems, and customer-facing touchpoints. Support configuration decisions, testing cycles (SIT/UAT/E2E), data migration (customers, pricing conditions), and cutover. Ensure alignment with global templates and local legal requirements (invoicing, taxation). Train SD Key Users and support post-go-live stabilization. Mandatory Functional Expertise SAP SD Technical & Professional Requirements Strong SAP SD hands-on experience: pricing, billing, delivery, shipping, ATP. Understanding of O2C flows and SD integration with FI/MM/EDI. Experience with S/4 deployments, testing, migration, and template governance. Knowledge of local invoicing/tax legalities is a plus.
