We’re looking for a Short-Form Video Editor who can turn raw footage, product moments, and narrative ideas into sharp, scroll-stopping videos built for modern social platforms. This role is ideal for someone who understands pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling in under 60 seconds and knows how to make technical or product-led content feel engaging and human. You’ll work closely with a small, fast-moving team to produce short-form content that supports brand awareness, product education, and audience growth. This is a hands-on role with real ownership over creative execution. If you’re comfortable editing fast, iterating quickly, and shaping content for platforms like TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and paid placements, this role will fit you well. Why You’ll Want to Join You will be paid in USD (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th) Up to 14 days of Paid Time Off annually (starting Day 1) Observance of Holidays per company guidelines 100 percent remote setup so you can work wherever you’re most productive Work with an early-stage team building a product from the ground up Opportunity to help define a brand’s short-form visual voice ahead of public launch What You’ll Work On Short-Form Video Editing Edit short-form videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and paid social Shape tight, engaging edits with strong hooks, pacing, and retention in mind Add captions, sound design, motion elements, and visual polish where needed Repurpose long-form or raw footage into multiple short-form variations Creative Collaboration Work closely with product, marketing, and creative stakeholders to align on messaging Interpret loose concepts and turn them into clear, compelling video outputs Iterate quickly based on feedback, performance data, and creative direction Format and Platform Optimization Adapt content to platform-specific formats, dimensions, and best practices Stay current on short-form trends, editing styles, and audience behavior Help test new formats, structures, and creative approaches What You Bring 2 to 4 years of experience editing short-form video for social or digital platforms Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, captions, and visual storytelling in short formats Proficiency with tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality or clarity Strong attention to detail and comfort managing multiple edits at once Nice to Have Experience editing product or tech-focused content Familiarity with motion graphics, light animation, or After Effects Experience supporting paid social creative or performance content Comfort working in early-stage or fast-changing environments How to Apply Please include: Your updated resume A portfolio or reel showing your short-form video work A short 1 to 2 minute Loom video introducing yourself and explaining your approach to short-form editing Only candidates who submit a portfolio and Loom video will be considered.
