THIS IS AN UNPAID VOLUNTEERING ROLE. Role Title: Senior Learning and Development Officer (SLO) Role Nature: Volunteer Location: Home-based The Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) is an international think-tank supporting and advocating the application of blockchain technology in the global fight against climate change. We are looking for a passionate VOLUNTEER who takes a strategic approach to their work, builds professional relationships with stakeholders, and generates opportunities for the organisation development. Responsibilities: To assist with the curating and/or creating of Capacity Building material for the Institute To create Learning and Training opportunities for the volunteers To deliver training initiatives to fulfil the training needs identified within the Institute To provide regular administrative support for the learning and development functions To assist in the coordination of BCI learning and training sessions General & Specialist Knowledge Strong interest in topics central to BCI, such as climate change, climate finance and blockchain technology Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager or similar Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices Skills & Abilities Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS) Excellent communication skills
