This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 4000000 Rs 7000000 (ie INR 40 - 70LPA) Min Experience: 7 years Location: Remote (India) JobType: full-time We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the architecture and development of scalable, high-quality user-facing systems. This role is primarily frontend-focused with some backend exposure and requires strong ownership across the full delivery lifecycle, from shaping technical direction to building reliable, performant interfaces, while collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and architecture of complex, scalable frontend systems with a focus on maintainability and performance Build and deliver high-quality user-facing features using  React, TypeScript, and modern CSS , with strong attention to UX and accessibility Own end-to-end execution of frontend initiatives, defining milestones and delivering high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to shape technical solutions and product direction Define and promote best practices across coding standards, testing, documentation, and code reviews Rapidly prototype, iterate on evolving requirements, and bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to elevate team-wide engineering quality Drive operational excellence by improving observability, rollout safety, system reliability, and incident response processes Diagnose and resolve production issues, proactively improving systems to reduce operational overhead What Makes You a Great Fit 7+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining large-scale web applications Deep expertise in frontend technologies including  React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and DOM rendering Proven experience architecting frontend systems with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability Working knowledge of backend development (e.g., Node.js or Python) with strong engineering fundamentals Strong understanding of design patterns, testing strategies, and production-quality code practices Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills in high-scale environments Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams Passion for continuous learning and interest in modern technologies, including AI-powered applications Experience building highly interactive or performance-sensitive interfaces is a plus
