This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 4 years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated ReactJS – NodeJS Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable, high-performance web applications using ReactJS on the frontend and NodeJS on the backend . You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver robust, user-centric solutions that align with business goals. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, writing clean and maintainable code, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using ReactJS for the frontend and NodeJS for the backend. Build reusable, modular, and high-performance UI components using modern React practices such as hooks, state management, and component-based architecture. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using NodeJS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, QA, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end features. Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability across the stack. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. Stay updated with the latest trends, frameworks, and best practices in ReactJS and NodeJS development. Required Skills & Qualifications 4–10 years of professional experience in full-stack or frontend/backend development. Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS , including component lifecycle, hooks, and state management libraries. Solid experience with NodeJS for building scalable backend services and APIs. Good understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services. Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data modeling concepts. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Skills (Good to Have) Experience with frameworks or tools such as Express.js, Next.js, or similar. Exposure to cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and basic DevOps practices. Understanding of web security best practices and performance optimization techniques. Prior experience working in agile or product-based development environments.
