This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 1 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time As a Frappe Developer, you will be responsible for developing backend logic, customizing workflows, creating APIs, and ensuring seamless system performance. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Frappe Framework . Customize DocTypes, workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards as per business needs. Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code following best practices. Develop and integrate REST APIs for third-party and internal system integrations. Work on database schema design and optimization using MariaDB/MySQL. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to ensure system stability. Implement role-based permissions, validations, and security controls within Frappe. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions on time. Maintain proper documentation for developed features and system changes. Required Skills & Qualifications 1–3 years of hands-on experience with the Frappe Framework . Strong proficiency in Python and understanding of server-side development. Experience working with Frappe ORM , DocTypes, hooks, and background jobs. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and Jinja templating. Experience with RESTful APIs and system integrations. Working knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB databases. Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. Good to Have Exposure to ERPNext customization and modules. Experience with Linux server environments and deployment processes. Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization.
