This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 8 years Location: Pune JobType: full-time We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with deep expertise in Java and Python to design, build, and scale secure, cloud-native SaaS platforms in the cybersecurity domain. This role combines strong hands-on technical leadership with architectural ownership, focusing on building high-performance, resilient security solutions across areas such as firewalls, security analytics, SIEM, and SOAR. You will play a key role in setting engineering standards, mentoring teams, and driving secure-by-design practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of scalable, secure software solutions using  Java and/or Python Architect and deliver  SaaS-based cybersecurity platforms  with high availability, performance, and reliability Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to engineering teams Drive best practices in  secure coding, threat modeling, and compliance  with industry standards Collaborate with Product, Security, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end security solutions Design and implement  security analytics, automation workflows, and ITSM integrations Build and maintain microservices-based architectures and distributed systems Guide the adoption of  DevSecOps practices , CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and system scalability Support architectural decisions related to performance, resilience, and security posture What Makes You a Great Fit 8–10 years of hands-on experience in software development with strong expertise in  Java and/or Python Proven experience building  cloud-native SaaS applications  on AWS, Azure, or GCP Deep understanding of  microservices architectures, APIs, and distributed systems Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as  Docker and Kubernetes Strong knowledge of  DevSecOps principles , CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation Prior exposure to  cybersecurity products  such as SIEM and SOAR platforms is highly preferred Understanding of firewalls, secure API design, and modern security architectures Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex, fast-paced environments Demonstrated leadership ability with experience mentoring and guiding engineers Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams Exposure to AI/ML-driven security analytics is a plus
