Optimiza is on the lookout for a dedicated Jira Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration, administration, and ongoing support of Jira and its related tools. Your expertise will help streamline project tracking and enhance Agile development processes, ensuring that teams can effectively collaborate and deliver high-quality results. Key Responsibilities: Administer and manage Jira projects, workflows, and configurations to meet the unique needs of different teams. Provide support and training to users on best practices for utilizing Jira and related tools effectively. Develop and optimize Jira dashboards, filters, and reports to improve visibility into project progress and team performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions that enhance workflows and project tracking. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Jira and associated integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to teams. Stay current on Jira updates, features, and industry trends to maximize the platform’s capabilities. Document guidelines, processes, and training materials to support user adoption and promote best practices. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of experience working with Jira, ideally in an administration or specialist role. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management practices. Experience in configuring and customizing Jira projects, workflows, and permissions. Proficiency in creating and managing Jira dashboards, filters, and advanced reporting techniques. Familiarity with Jira API for integration with other tools and systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail when configuring workflows and resolving user issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with users and stakeholders. Relevant certifications (e.g., Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator) are a plus.
