We are looking to build a candidate pool of industry practitioners and educators who can demonstrate current experience and a commitment to supporting the development of creative professionals. Candidates should have an excellent knowledge of VFX industry and an ability to engage and connect with students across all undergraduate levels. You will have a credible professional/industry profile, evidence of high-quality teaching practice, and experience in the delivery of further or higher education programmes. A degree in a relevant discipline is expected. Teaching and/or postgraduate qualifications are desirable but not essential. Essential Skills and Experience: We're looking for a professional with a proven track record in visual effects, either through industry practice or teaching. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in one or more of the following areas: - Software Proficiency: - Nuke Compositing - Adobe After Effects - Adobe Photoshop - Autodesk Maya - SideFX Houdini - Substance Painter Core Compositing & VFX Skills: - 2D/3D Tracking - Keying and Compositing Workflows - Paint and Roto Techniques - Seamless Integration of 3D Renders into Live-Action Footage - 2DParallax - Photo bashing - 1 2 and 3 Point Perspective - CG Into live action - Compositing - Rotoscoping - Simulations - Character Animation - Rendering (Arnold / Mantra / Karma, desirable Redshift) Desirable Skills: - Zbrush Sculpting and Rigging Job Description here If you are interested in applying for this position, then please complete the e-application form.
