In the role, the successful candidate will:  Assess and analyse current business processes, developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a deep understanding of business challenges and opportunities. Become a subject matter expert by building a detailed knowledge base of business operations, business processes, data flows and systems in the business areas supported Design future state services, based on detailed analysis with a strong focus on implementing processes that deliver business efficiency and productivity gains. Help drive the implementation of change that aims to deliver increased automation, enhanced user experience, and AI enabled decisioning. Identify potential organisational impacts as a result of new business process or system deployment. Work closely with our IT architecture colleagues and delivery squads to understand design implications, Provide timely status updates to Business, Product and Process owners. Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role. About you   We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:  5-10 years previous experience as a Process Designer/Engineer with a strong focus on process improvement. Proficiency in tools such as Visio, Figma, MIRO or other process design tools. Stakeholder management skills and excellent communication both verbal and written. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Ability to simplify complex processes and communicate them clearly. Comfortable working across multiple business units and managing competing priorities. Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience working within the financial services industry, risk experience also an advantage. An ability to prioritise workloads and achieve critical deadlines. A proven record as a team player with ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organisation. Solid understanding and experience in a range of system development life cycle methodologies Experience of translating business needs into formal business requirements & functional specifications.
