The role involves analyzing requirements, defining specifications, and identifying integration opportunities. Responsibilities further include documenting workflows, suggesting improvements, and maintaining technical documentation. The position also develops test scenarios to ensure quality and smooth application delivery, implements system enhancements for scalability and efficiency, and provides support to resolve incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and escalate issues, ensuring clear communication and user satisfaction. What will you do: Implement and ensure that business application processes are in alignment with departmental and section's goals and objectives. Provide input on metrics and related to business applications performance, incidents, capacity and availability, supporting operational transparency and informed decision-making. Ensure compliance with internal governance, operational procedures/processes, and security policies/processes/work-instructions. Collaborate with business teams to gather and analyse business requirements and identify potential integration and/or interdependency with other systems. Define technical and functional specifications in alignment with business analysis techniques and methodologies. Contribute to the documentation current "as-is" workflows as a baseline for improvements, suggest required changes/ improvements and documents "to be" processes that align with business goals. Create and maintains technical and non-technical documentations based on business requirements ensuring traceability, clarity and alignment with business needs. Translate feedback technical specifications and drafts testing criteria, guiding the implementation of solutions that meet objectives. Engage in the testing activities by developing, executing, and monitoring test scenarios to ensure application quality and that functional requirements are met. Participate in issue investigations and change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions and successful delivery outcomes. Maintain UAT systems and performs periodical update from production platforms, ensuring that test environment landscape is provided for all applications. Support business applications development as needed. Propose and implements system improvements and solutions to address issues, aiming to enhance performance, scalability, and efficiency. Implement business requirements through system configuration, parameterization, and code development to meet business needs, maintaining updated technical documentation that aligns with governance standards and supports operational transparency. Create and maintains documentation of user manuals and ensure that they are maintained and updated within company's repository (WiKi). Provide effective support services to ensure the prompt resolution of incidents and problems, performs root cause analysis and escalate complex problems to higher-level teams or vendors when necessary, focusing on maintaining high user satisfaction and quality services delivery. Facilitate timely communication and deliver clear service support between the IT section and end-users to enhance service delivery and user experience. What you need to be successful: A BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field. 2+ years of experience in billing & collection processes, preferably in the Utilities, Services or Telecom sectors. Relevant working experience in IS Business Analysis, Design and support in Business Applications, preferably in the Utilities, Services or Telecom sectors. Familiarity with the concept of APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration best practices. Experience with relational databases and SQL. Prior experience with ticketing systems such as JIRA for issue tracking and resolution will be a plus. Good collaboration and Teamworking skills. Be passionate about optimizing work processes.
