The ideal candidate will bring strong sales expertise, market intelligence, and leadership capabilities to build sustainable business relationships and consistently achieve targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability and a deep understanding of regional market dynamics. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets within the assigned area. Identify new business opportunities, expand distribution networks, and penetrate untapped markets to maximize sales growth. Manage and mentor a team of sales executives, distributors, or channel partners to drive performance and productivity. Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and generate actionable insights to improve conversion rates and profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, and stakeholders to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships. Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends. Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables management. Coordinate with marketing and product teams to execute promotional campaigns and product launches effectively within the territory. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management. Maintain compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and operational standards. Required Skills & Competencies (Sales-Focused): Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding targets. Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills. Ability to develop territory growth strategies and execute them effectively. Strong relationship management and customer engagement skills. Data-driven approach to sales planning and performance tracking. Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities. Leadership skills to guide, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 4–10 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, Consumer Durables, Retail, Manufacturing, or related industries. Demonstrated experience in territory management and team handling. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools for sales reporting and analysis.
