This role is for one of the Weekday's clients JobType: full-time Location: Kandivali, Mumbai Suburban (R&D Site) We are seeking experienced Project Management professionals to lead end-to-end R&D projects within a pharmaceutical environment based in Kandivali, Mumbai. This role is focused on driving structured execution of research and development initiatives while ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and other key stakeholders. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, compliance standards, and organizational objectives are consistently met. The position requires strong expertise in pharmaceutical R&D project management, a clear understanding of regulatory and quality frameworks, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects in a dynamic, process-driven setting. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end management of pharmaceutical R&D projects from planning to execution and closure Develop detailed project plans, define milestones, allocate resources, and track deliverables Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between R&D, QA, Regulatory, and other internal stakeholders Monitor timelines, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery Ensure projects adhere to internal quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to leadership Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting systems Facilitate communication between departments to resolve dependencies and bottlenecks Drive accountability across teams to meet project objectives and deadlines What Makes You a Great Fit Strong experience in R&D Project Management within the pharmaceutical industry Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects in a regulated environment Deep understanding of pharma development lifecycle and compliance processes Excellent cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills Strong planning, scheduling, and risk management capabilities Ability to track KPIs, timelines, and deliverables with precision Effective communication and leadership skills Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on process adherence and quality Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D site environment Strong problem-solving skills and proactive decision-making approach
