As a Lead Buyer, your mission will be to develop and implement effective purchasing strategies that align with our overall objectives. You will handle everything from supplier relationship management to contract compliance, ensuring that our procurement processes contribute to the company's growth and sustainability goals.To lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing purchasing strategy for categories of indirect materials Internal relationships will be with internal stakeholders (HR, Operations, Supply Chain, maintenance, site leadership, etc.). Internal global team with calls that extend outside of normal working hours. External relationships will be indirect vendors outside of the organization. Hold a Master’s degree in Procurement or a related technical field, underscoring your depth of knowledge and expertise in the procurement domain. Bring a minimum of 5 years of comprehensive experience in indirect procurement to the table, demonstrating your capability to navigate the complexities of supplier management and strategic sourcing. Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills, both verbally and in writing, which are essential for effectively articulating ideas, negotiating contracts, and influencing key decisions. Exhibit the ability to forge meaningful connections and collaborate effectively with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and fostering a team-oriented environment that drives success. Maintain an analytical and resourceful approach while adeptly prioritizing tasks, allowing you to manage multiple projects efficiently and allocate resources strategically to meet organizational objectives. Embrace a proactive work ethic, always seeking to co-create innovative solutions alongside stakeholders, demonstrating initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement. Show the agility to respond to changes in the business landscape, adapting and shifting direction as needed, ensuring that you remain resilient and effective in a dynamic environment. English is a requirement, Dutch highly preferred and German as advantageous.
