This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 1000000 - Rs 2000000 (ie INR 10-20 LPA) Min Experience: 7 years Location: India, NCR JobType: full-time As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end project lifecycles, driving technical excellence, managing risks, and ensuring alignment between engineering teams and business objectives. The ideal candidate has a solid background in embedded systems or automotive domains, hands-on experience with HIL environments, and proven experience leading technical teams in high-performance settings. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple projects involving HIL testing frameworks , embedded systems validation, and software integration. Drive project planning activities including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, risk management, and milestone tracking. Provide technical leadership in C++ development , ensuring adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and maintainable architecture. Oversee the design, development, and execution of HIL test setups , simulation models, and automation strategies. Collaborate with software, hardware, and validation teams to ensure seamless integration and verification processes. Utilize SQL for data analysis, reporting, database management, and test result validation. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), quality metrics, and project deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes. Identify technical risks early and implement mitigation strategies to avoid project delays. Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and promote continuous improvement and innovation. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and deliverables. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7–10 years of experience in project management within embedded systems, automotive, or related engineering domains. Strong hands-on experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing , including setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and validation. Advanced proficiency in C++ programming , with experience in real-time systems or embedded applications. Solid working knowledge of SQL for database querying, performance tuning, and data validation. Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, fostering collaboration and accountability. Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and validation processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with automotive standards or embedded system validation frameworks. Familiarity with simulation tools and test automation platforms. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is an added advantage.
