This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 2 years Location: Jaipur JobType: full-time We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with over 2 years of hands-on experience to support and optimize infrastructure and deployment pipelines within the FinTech and Banking domain. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to DevSecOps practices, cloud and/or on-prem environments, and network security concepts such as firewalls and VPNs. This role focuses on ensuring system security, high availability, regulatory compliance, and seamless application delivery. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient CI/CD pipelines for application deployments. Integrate security controls and tools into development pipelines following DevSecOps best practices. Manage and monitor cloud and/or on-prem infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, and network security configurations. Collaborate with development, security, and compliance teams to meet regulatory standards in the FinTech and Banking sector. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Monitor system performance, logs, and security events; proactively respond to incidents and vulnerabilities. Enforce security best practices including access control, secrets management, and patch management. Support audits, security assessments, and compliance reviews. Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure, processes, and operational workflows. Required Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Strong understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar. Hands-on experience managing firewalls, VPNs, and network security configurations. Solid knowledge of Linux systems and shell scripting. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and/or on-prem infrastructure. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (preferred). Knowledge of security tools including SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanners, and secrets management solutions. Understanding of FinTech/Banking compliance standards (ISO, PCI-DSS, etc.) is preferred. Good to Have Relevant DevOps, Cloud, Kubernetes, or Security certifications. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture or cloud security frameworks.
