This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2500000 - Rs 8000000 (ie INR 25-80 LPA) Min Experience: 3 years Location: Remote (India) JobType: full-time We are seeking exceptional full-stack ML engineers who can work independently, navigate complex systems, and contribute to building advanced environments used for training next-generation coding agents. What We’re Looking For Experience working in small, high-ownership environments (e.g., early-stage startup, founding engineer, CTO). Deep expertise in at least one core stack: TypeScript / Python / Go / Java — with a strong preference for backend experience and familiarity with TypeScript. Background as a product engineer, platform engineer, or ML engineer (not infrastructure-only or data-science-only profiles). Ability to understand, reason about, and solve difficult technical problems independently, while also effectively using tools like Cursor to accelerate development. Strong engineering fundamentals and comfort navigating large, unfamiliar codebases quickly. What You Will Do Build reinforcement learning environments and sandboxes used by major AI labs to train advanced coding agents. Onboard to a new codebase every 1–1.5 months, develop a deep understanding of it, and construct RL tasks on top of it. Design engineering challenges, create mocks, write robust tests, and manipulate infrastructure components as needed to build realistic RL scenarios. Develop tools, utilities, and agent-support systems that make environment creation faster and more efficient for the entire engineering team. Work across full-stack components where required, while focusing heavily on backend logic and environment behavior.
