About The Role: As a Sr. Android Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems, while adhering to best practices for software development. In addition, this role requires expertise in location services and tracking using Google Maps. What you'll be expected to do: Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Work with outside data sources and APIs. Implement location services and tracking in Android applications using Google Maps SDK for Android. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
