Our advanced software leverages analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies to support every stage of the credit and lending lifecycle, remaining at the forefront of fintech innovation.  We are looking for a talented Full-stack Software Engineer to join our Digital Banking department. Reporting to the management of the department, this role will undertake important responsibilities in the development of a new product of Qualco. Responsibilities The role will have the following duties: Participate in the code design and implementation activities of a complex distributed system; Architect, develop, test and optimize full-stack applications using an API-first approach; Compose robust, theme-able, responsive and easy to maintain, Web front ends; Implement and execute automated tests (from unit to end-to-end, integration and performance); Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive, high-performance user experiences, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimizing applications for performance and scalability; Cooperate with own team developers, as well as with developers, DevOps engineers, testers, etc. of adjacent, cooperating or external teams in everyday work, component interworking and testing, performance tuning and troubleshooting; Author and maintain high-quality documentation accompanying the written code; Participate in Agile ceremonies for the design, development, and testing, as part of an agile development team; Maintain a consistent and smooth cooperation of the overall hyper-team with the horizontal teams of Qualco, including Compliance, Risk, Business Continuity, and Information Security teams, ensuring conformance at all levels with existing Qualco policies, processes, and codes; Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy; A University degree (4+ years of studies) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or related fields. A graduate-level degree in a related field will be considered a plus; At least 2-3 years of experience in software engineering positions developing full-stack systems; Proven experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript and related frameworks; Fluency in React JS development and with the React ecosystem; experience with Angular will be considered a plus; Proven experience in designing, implementing and consuming GraphQL services, including back-end and front-end frameworks; Experience with generic REST/JSON APIs, including the design and implementation of OpenAPI API contracts and consumption of OpenAPI-defined REST/JSON APIs; Experience with Node.js and the Node ecosystem; Adequate experience in back-end concepts (persistence, microservices, ORMs, caching) and simple frameworks (preferably Spring Boot or Quarkus); Experience in at least 1 complex, multi-component or distributed system, in a full-stack role, involving the above technologies; Proficiency in Java will be highly preferred; in other back-end languages will be considered as an alternative; Experience in writing and executing different types of tests (e.g., unit, integration, performance, end-to-end, smoke); Knowledge of and experience with CI/CD pipelines will be highly appreciated; Ability to cooperate smoothly and efficiently within large teams of peers, using various technologies, having various statuses (employees/vendors/subcontractors), and spanning a wide range of skills and cultures; Attention to detail, a learning- and growth-oriented mentality, and a collaborative profile / high-EQ team spirit will be of major importance; Very Good oral and written English language skills.
