Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior IT Core Banking Developer to play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our client's central banking systems in Greece. Your responsibilities will entail: Taking ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining mission-critical core banking applications; Engaging in the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to support; Producing clear and detailed documentation for system architecture, functionality, and processes; Performing rigorous testing and data validation to ensure the absolute integrity of the systems; Efficiently troubleshooting and resolving complex software bugs and user-reported issues; Handling the integration of core banking platforms with other internal and external services; Collaborating closely with IT colleagues to maintain the stability, performance, and security of core systems; Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field; Over 4 years of hands-on software development experience, specifically within core banking systems; In-depth knowledge of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory compliance; Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders; Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and manage competing deadlines successfully; Technical Expertise: Proficiency in foundational programming languages such as COBOL, C, or Python; Hands-on experience with enterprise-level core banking software platforms like AS/400 or Z/OS; Additional Advantage: Familiarity with Linux environments will be considered a significant plus.
