As our Casual Food & Beverage Assistant, your main duties will be: · Providing the service of food and beverage products in the restaurant, predominantly working within the bar and cellar stocking shelves and occasionally being available for breakfast or evening restaurant team, or Meetings & Events working weddings, functions and other events · Being able to confidently communicate all our food and beverage offerings available to customers. · Accurately dealing with all payment transactions (cash, card and room charging) in the correct manner according to company guidelines. · Providing a warm and welcoming service at all touch points with the guests ensuring that any queries or requirements are dealt with accordingly. The ideal candidate will have: · Previous experience in a food and beverage service position · Attentive, professional customer service skills · The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a big team · Experience of processing payments (experience of Micros would be advantageous) · Confidence, professionalism and engaging personality About the Hotel Housed in the magnificent Grade II listed Central Buildings, dating back to 1884, the beautifully restored boutique hotel is steeped in history.
