Using your creative nature & personality, you will support the F&B team & lead by example to drive their performance in delivering excellent customer service in all interactions, & profitability through driving sales & minimising wastage, deputising in the absence of the F&B Manager. Responsibilities of a F&B Supervisor: · Being able to confidently communicate all our food and beverage offerings available to customers. · Accurately dealing with all payment transactions (cash, card and room charging) in the correct manner according to company guidelines. · Providing a warm and welcoming service at all touch points with the guests ensuring that any queries or requirements are dealt with accordingly. · Supporting with the management of the day-to-day departmental and staffing needs, planning and assigning work and contributing to setting performance and development goals for team members · Ensuring the team deliver on quality and guest satisfaction goals - making sure you all maintain a high level of guest satisfaction The experience & qualifications required are: · Previous experience in a food and beverage supervisory position, ideally a restaurant setting/operation · Attentive, professional customer service skills · The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a big team · Experience of processing payments and end of shift banking (ideally using Micros) would be advantageous · As the position covers breakfast, M&E functions or dinner service, the right candidate would need to be available for a variety of shifts over mornings and evenings, sometimes into the early hours About the Hotel Housed in the magnificent Grade II listed Central Buildings, dating back to 1884, the beautifully restored boutique hotel is steeped in history.
