We are 650+ people, across eight global offices.Job Description We are looking for ambitious and authentic software developers who can bring a fresh perspective to solving challenging problems and build infrastructure that will support robust, enterprise-ready SaaS applications and a delightful user experience. A good grasp of operating systems, distributed systems, databases, and networking concepts and the ability to design for scale, optimized memory usage, and performance are required to be successful in thisrole. As a software developer at DevRev, you will have the opportunity to build things that ruly matter and to work with a thriving global team. Responsibilities Implement features for the server-side architecture using relevant programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Java, Go, Python). Aid in developing and maintaining robust system backbones that support microservices-based scalable architecture and enhance the overall user experience. Produce high-quality, testable, and efficient code in line with team standards. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical issues across various deployment environments. Apply foundational computer science knowledge, particularly concerning system architecture, data storage, and network communication, to assigned projects. Collaborate with peers on code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge. Actively participate in the team's software development lifecycle rituals (e.g., planning, daily check-ins, review sessions). Proactively seek to expand expertise in contemporary backend practices, including cloud service integration and application optimization. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field Software development experience coding in C, C++, Java, Golang Strong experience with memory and performance optimization Agile development processes theoretical and practical knowledge and experience Creative problem solving Preferred qualifications: 3-4 years of experience programming with two or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Golang, or Python Experience with implementation and development of microservices-based scalable architecture Experience with Cloud development technologies such as AWS Lambda, SQS, MongoDB, etc. Experience with building and operating large scale systems in multi-tenant environments.   As part of our hiring process, shortlisted candidates will undergo a Background Verification (BGV).
