As our new Senior   Accountant , you will:   Lead the preparation   and review   of statutory financial statements, management accounts, and periodic reports for   a variety of clients across different sectors.   Oversee and review bookkeeping, VAT compliance, and payroll processes,   to   ensure accuracy , timeliness,   and efficiency.   Provide   expert   advice   to   clients on accounting   matters,   helping them   navigate   legislative and regulatory requirements   confidently .   Proactively manage a portfolio of clients,   serving   as   a trusted   point of contact and building   strong   relationships.   Liaise   effectively   with auditors and third parties,   advocating   for   clients’   best   interests   with   professional ism .   Begin   developing your   role as   a trusted business advisor   by supporting clients   in   implementation   informed   business decisions.   Mentor and   guide   junior team members, fostering a   positive, inclusive,   and high-performing   team culture .   Harness   advanced accounting software and automation tools to   streamline   process es and enhance   tech-enabled   service delivery.   Participate in cross-functional projects and client meetings,   further sharpening   your leadership , communication,   and problem-solving skills.   Uphold   PwC’s   values   by   maintaining   the highest standards of accuracy , integrity,   and compliance .   Your Growth Path   We are committed to supporting your career advancement.   Based on   performance and ongoing   dialogue , you   will have   access   to   opportunities such as   advancing to   Manager ial   roles   or specialis ing   in   specific accounting disciplines . International mobility programmes may also be   available to   broaden your experience and professional network.   About You:   We’re   looking for someone who is:   Fully qualified in ACCA   member   or   holder of a   relevant degree in Accountancy.   Minimum of   2   -   3 years of relevant accounting experience.   Proficien cy   in   accounting software and consolidation tools,   with a   quick   aptitude for adopting   to   new   technologies .   Strong organisational skills   with the   ability to   manage competing priorities and meet   deadlines.   Excellent communication skills   in English , both verbal   and written   C ollaborative mindset,   eager   to learn , share knowledge,   and mentor   colleagues .   Flexibility to work at client premises   and   willingness   to   travel   occasional ly within and   outside Malta.   We welcome applications from   all   experienced accounting professionals based in Malta who want to   develop   their career s   in an inclusive and supportive environment .
