Job Description: Job Title: Fixed Income & Currencies Sales Corporate Title: Vice President – Director Location: New York, NY ALL ROLES TO BE CONSIDERED Overview The Institutional Client Group (ICG) for Debt manages the Bank's relationships with institutional investors across the full Debt product spectrum. ICG Debt combines the global capabilities of Deutsche Bank with regional expertise on five continents. With leading market shares in nearly every product and region, success relies on factors such as anticipating the impact of market and regulatory changes to clients’ business, developing the latest eCommerce, and Clearing platforms, and leveraging the Bank’s product, research, and structuring expertise to offer tailor-made solutions which are customized to meet the specific requirements of each individual client. You will be proactively driving sales coverage of Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) products to United States (US) based clients, across liquid and illiquid products. What We Offer You A diverse and inclusive environment that embraces change, innovation, and collaboration A hybrid working model, allowing for in-office / work from home flexibility, generous vacation, personal and volunteer days Employee Resource Groups support an inclusive workplace for everyone and promote community engagement Competitive compensation packages including health and wellbeing benefits, retirement savings plans, parental leave, and family building benefits Educational resources, matching gift, and volunteer programs What You’ll Do Interacting with Trading on the FIC product suite, leveraging the success of the cash and solutions franchise to help increase our market share Responsible for partnering with FIC trading and structuring, as well as other sales colleagues within the team and within the product How You’ll Lead Acting as the FIC “product champion” and person to go to for the US team, and acting as the FIC US “ambassador” in New York Advising on clearing, collateral/derivatives-documentation Helping with the development of more junior team members Skills You’ll Need Educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience (finance would be advantageous) Extensive knowledge of the Fixed Income market and profound skills in structured products A strong sense of how macroeconomic developments, be they slow moving or instantaneous, which are beneficially for the largest sophisticated investors and proven track record covering this client segment and deep knowledge across this product base (including their derivatives) Skills That Will Help You Excel Entrepreneurial skills to prioritize resources to maximize outcome and value for client Comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment and able to demonstrate the ability to navigate complex organizations Advanced with respect to quantitative skills and have the ability to interpret business and economic data and assess the implications of both with regards to client requirements Expectations It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model. The salary range for this position in New York City is $130K - $275K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
