Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT Teams and Product managers to understand their needs, identify opportunities for improvement, identify pain points and define business requirements for banking products, services, and systems and define solutions · Analyze existing banking processes, workflows, and data to identify areas for optimization and automation · Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business needs and current system capabilities · Develop user stories, flowcharts, and other documentation (like BRD, FRD, SRS) to clearly communicate business needs to technical teams and also assist to create Project Plans · Document business requirements clearly, concisely, and accurately using industry-standard tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, use cases). · Present information professionally & concisely with supporting data · Work collaboratively with cross functional teams, developers, testers, and other IT professionals to ensure that systems are designed and implemented according to business requirements · Test and validate system functionalities to ensure they meet business requirements · Facilitate and review Test Scripts and test data creation in SIT, and assisting execution and defect management using Jira in UAT and CUG · Coordinate with multiple vendors for API mapping document creation, API testing and API provisioning · Work closely with the project managers to lead the team in daily standups and planning · Create user training materials and impart user training to business uses. Conduct training sessions for new features and functionalities on new banking systems and processes for internal teams · Assist in Business Development. Attend meetings with potential clients to determine the business requirements, ensuring all necessary information is gathered for presenting a proposal Mandatory skill sets: 1. 4-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst (most of which should be in banking industry) 2. · Good understanding of banking products, services, and regulations. 3. · Should have worked for gathering and analysing business requirements for at least one of the banking systems and processes (such as customer onboarding, Core Banking Systems, banking products such as savings account, deposits, loans (LOS, LMS) payment gateway integration, etc.) 4. · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 5. · Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, and presentation skill, self-initiated, business & technology savvy 6. · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Jira) 7. · Basic understanding in SQL and log analysis 8. · Basic understanding of APIs (including endpoints, request and response structures) 9. · Experience of delivering the project in delivery methodology (e.g. waterfall, Agile, Scrum) Preferred skill sets: Good to Have · Stay up to date on the latest banking regulations and industry trends · Experience with user experience (UX) is good to have · Knowledge of Programming languages like Java is good to have · Knowledge of Analytics Tools such as Google Analytics is a plus Years of experience required: 4 to 7 years Education qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA/ M.E/ M.TECH/ MBA/ PGDM.
