Job Description & Summary At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion. Main Responsibilities Performing assigned tasks under the project senior’s (field manager) supervision and effectively being integral part of the team, which aims to deliver quality assurance services to a variety of top-tier clients; Supporting the field manager in driving the team forward Maintaining good client relationships and participating in client meetings and negotiations; Assessment of internal controls within business processes and information systems; Documenting the work performed and submitting it for the supervisor’s review within the established deadline; What we are looking for        One-three years of experience in External Audit Services; or combination of External and Internal audit might be considered; Strong analytical, problem solving, planning and communication skills; Mandatory fluent in Azerbaijani and advanced English language skills, both verbal and written; Russian language skill is advantage; Strong verbal and written communication with colleagues and clients as well strong presentation skills; Experience of the entire audit process Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines; What we offer: Dynamic, smart, flexible, friendly team environment with healthy competition and work culture; Exposure to various industries which develops invaluable business acumen; Potential exposure to international experience including secondments to European or other countries.
