Job Description: Job Title: Clearing and Settlement Analyst, Securities/Asset Services - Associate Location: Manila Corporate Title : Associate Work Hours: 3PM - 12AM or 4PM - 1AM (Mid shift) Overview Bonds and ECM/ETF Settlements perform a unique and critical process of New/Primary Issuance deal management which involves being in touch with trading/trade support team before deal execution, receiving all bookings and set of important documents for payment pack, input/release of payment, funding management, expert knowledge of different markets avenues of potential business opportunities. This function stretches beyond regular business hours and need continuous communication with sales and support team for smooth payment processing. Considering a highly reputational and time sensitive topic, excellent verbal and written communications is required to keep the stake intact. This team also give heads up to downstream settlements team across product and market as a heads up to settle on Investor trades. Liaising with Domestic Agents, Middle offices, Traders, Counterparties, Frankfurt, London and other internal counterparts via mail and phone to ensure smooth settlements. Eye for detail to process manual payments, collection of documents and doing four eye Gain Expertise in processing in end-to-end life cycle of Trades Understands and effectively manages risks through timely and accurate escalation and resolution of key issues. Ability to work in partnership with various support team, Key stakeholders and should be able to lead key projects Managing client/SA/MO/TA escalations and mitigating the process risks Responsible for responding to ad-hoc issues or client queries on a timely basis, ensuring all communications have been responded to before end of day. Ensure process documentation is relevant and updated regularly for your process to audit standards. Actively supports transformation and/or optimization initiatives to improve the efficiency/effectiveness of process. Be a Team player and support your wider team mates at all times. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of services to clients Reporting Multiple MIS Good communication Skills Primary working relationships: Global settlement management Global operations management Internal stakeholders Your Skills and Experience: Graduate preferably in Business Administration or related course Responsibility for the Back Office operations for Settlement under Fixed Income/Equity product, Understands the importance of TAT/SLA’s and proactively works towards maintenance of the same. Gain Expertise in processing in end-to-end life cycle of Trades Understands and effectively manages risks through timely and accurate escalation and resolution of key issues. Follow escalation matrix to escalate aged issues and critical trades to line manager and middle office for quick resolution. The role requires extensive internal and external stakeholder communication.   Own preparation of month end KRIs, DB Score activity, FMI and Reg reporting for control framework. Should have strong knowledge of trade life cycle and good understanding of Equities product and Business and European market nuances Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, flexible to work in shifts and take additional responsibility when needed to login/logout as per business requirements. Own market/system testing over weekend with right level of proof capturing. Very good verbal and written articulation/communication skills Should be able to challenge status quo. The ideal candidate should have hands on Experience in Trade settlements and should have managed Trade operations in the past, preferably for European markets.
