About the role: A career in our Emerging Technologies/Businesses practice, will provide you with a unique opportunity to design and build modern data platforms that power emerging digital businesses. We help clients create scalable, secure and cloud-native data foundations on Azure that enable advanced analytics. Our team focuses on building end-to-end data pipelines and lakehouse architectures leveraging Azure Synapse, Databricks, Azure Data Factory and other Azure data services to help organizations unlock value from their data and accelerate innovation. Responsibilities - Design and build robust ETL/ELT data pipelines for Structured, Semi-structured, Unstructured data on Azure using Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, and Databricks (PySpark). - Develop and manage data lakes (ADLS Gen2) and data warehouses/lakehouses (Azure Synapse, Delta Lake) to support analytics and AI workloads. - Implement data ingestion frameworks (batch and streaming) from diverse enterprise and external data sources. - Apply data modelling, partitioning and performance optimization best practices for large-scale datasets. - Ensure data quality, lineage and observability using appropriate tools and Azure services. - Implement security, governance and compliance controls (RBAC, Key Vault, encryption, Purview) - Collaborate with AI/ML and GenAI teams to provision curated datasets and features for advanced use cases. - Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and automated deployments of data assets - Contribute to PoCs and accelerators for new data patterns (real-time analytics, lakehouse, RAG data prep) Mandatory skill sets: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, PySpark, Python, SQL, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, Git, CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub), Azure SQL / SQL MI, Azure Security (RBAC, Key Vault, Encryption), Data Modeling Preferred skill sets: Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, Azure Stream Analytics, Delta Lake/Lake house Architecture, Azure Purview, Power BI Integration, Azure Machine Learning / Azure OpenAI Integration, Terraform/Bicep, Cost Optimization on Azure Data Services, Real-time Analytics Years of experience required: 4 to 8 years Education qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MBA/MCA Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study required: Bachelor of Engineering, MBA (Master of Business Administration), Bachelor of Technology Degrees/Field of Study preferred: Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified) Required Skills Data Engineering Optional Skills Accepting Feedback, Accepting Feedback, Active Listening, Analytical Thinking, Artificial Intelligence, Business Planning and Simulation (BW-BPS), Communication, Competitive Advantage, Conducting Research, Creativity, Digital Transformation, Embracing Change, Emotional Regulation, Empathy, Implementing Technology, Inclusion, Innovation Processes, Intellectual Curiosity, Internet of Things (IoT), Learning Agility, Optimism, Product Development, Product Testing, Prototyping, Quality Assurance Process Management {+ 10 more} Desired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified) Travel Requirements Not Specified Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?
