Management Level Manager Job Description & Summary At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. Role Summary:   PwC Deals is a leading Corporate Finance, Valuations and Transaction Services advisory business in South Africa and is currently experiencing growth, driven by long term client relationships and a strong senior team. To take full advantage of the existing growth opportunities, we are looking for ambitious and highly motivated people to join our team.   Qualifications/ Certifications required :   CA (SA) or a Masters in corporate finance/ investment analysis or an equivalent qualification   CFA or studying towards CFA would be advantageous   Experience required:   P rior business valuation experience will be highly preferential   Responsibilities of role:     The successful candidate will play an active role in the team, executing and delivering client projects across a broad range of business, intangible asset and other valuations, including a cquisition s, d isposals , t ax & regulatory compliance and f inancial reporting .     The candidate will gain exposure to a diverse range of clients, from global multinationals to entrepreneurial, owner-managed businesses, covering both domestic and cross-border work.     A keen interest in and knowledge of the financial markets and economic environment, a desire to expand one's knowledge of financial markets, industries, deals/ transactions and valuation environments, along with sound commercial and business acumen, are critical.   High agility in a demanding, fast-moving environment is essential.   Skill sets required :   Applicants must display the following skills and competencies:      A well-organised and self-directed individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organisation;    Good problem-solving capabilities, including critical thinking;    Outstanding financial and analytical skills;    Excellent communication skills, including:    Active listening    Verbal communication   The ability to write succinct, well-structured reports/ deliverables   The ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and internally;    Good interpersonal and client relationship skills;    Strong time and project management skills and a proven ability to manage allocated sections of work;   Advanced knowledge and experience of the Microsoft suite of products, including proficiency in MS Excel;   A keen interest in further developing one's financial modelling skills;   Proven ability to work effectively and accurately on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring effective delivery of the priorities to meet targets and objectives ;    Ability to run projects or tasks independently when necessary;    A desire to seek learning opportunities and readiness for a steep learning curve;    Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment where each day is different; and   A team player who works effectively and accurately under pressure, delivering quality outputs within tight deadlines.   Role related attributes:   In addition to the above, the role requires the following:     Leadership skills and a pro-active approach in executing work;    A highly motivated, confident individual with a professional presence;   A desire to build on commercial and industry knowledge;    Negotiation skills;    Conflict management skills;    A proactive and dynamic team player; and   Highly rated with good academic credentials and good employment performance ratings.   Travel Requirements Up to 20% Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?
