Job Description: Job Title: Cloud Data and AI Engineer, AVP Location: Pune, India Role Description We are seeking an experienced Cloud (GCP) Data and AI engineer to play a key role in development and implementation of AI and Data engineering solutions. Candidate will work as an Engineering Team member in collaboration with business function and will be responsible for building and deploying robust and scalable AI and data engineering solutions, in-line with bank’s AI strategy, driven by business value to improve operational efficiency and enhance customer experience. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and data platforms (Hybrid Cloud and Hadoop). Ensure data quality, security, and governance for AI model training, development and deployment. CI/CD workflows for data pipelines, SQL scripts, ML models to implement in Production, with agile methodology Research and Innovation Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in cloud data, AI and machine learning (ML) tools and technologies (LLM, AutoML, Vertex AI) Collaborate with other teams and central AI team to identify emerging trends and technologies and to avoid duplication of efforts by building re-usable components. Develop proof-of-concept projects and pilots, with a scalable approach. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management Ensure that AI solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and mitigate them. Collaboration and Communication Communicate technical results and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise language. Your skills and experience Education and Experience Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Could (GCP) data engineering - data modelling, performance tuning for analytics platforms Experience with different types of enterprise and real-world data sets – structured, semi-structured and unstructured data. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in AI, ML, data science – Productionisation and post-production maintenance of solutions Experience with visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Technical Skills Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages. Knowledge of data management and processing platforms (e.g. Hadoop/Cloud Storage, Spark/DataProc, BQ, ADX, Dataflow, Airflow/Cloud Composer). AI Framework understanding – TensorFlow, PyTorch, LLMs, NLP with solution-oriented mindset. Team Player High-performing team player to drive results-oriented projects. Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good to Have Certifications: Relevant certifications in Data Science, Analytics, etc. Work experience in financial services industry, preferably in a global bank setting.
