Job Description & Summary The Global Centre of Excellence in Drone and Geospatial Technologies is a group of experts, consultants, and engineers unique within the organization, operating at the intersection of business, technology, and spatial data. We are looking for: Junior GIS and Photogrammetry Specialist Your future role: Contributing to various team projects and initiatives within the geospatial and image analysis domain, Assisting in the full lifecycle of GIS data management, including data gathering, processing, analysis, and spatial visualization, Supporting photogrammetric workflows, with a focus on drone images data processing and derived products generation, including data fusion with other sources, Preparing and contributing to reports and presentations communicating insights from geospatial and drone mapping projects, Conducting specialized market research in emerging technologies related to unmanned systems (sea, air, land), earth observation platforms, image data processing or geospatial AI tools, Supporting the design and improvement of internal GIS and location intelligence tools, workflows, and best practices. Apply if you have: Passion for GIS, photogrammetry, LiDAR, multispectral sensors and/or other drone technologies, earth observation platforms, Familiarity with spatial technologies, spatial data and/or spatial information systems concepts, tools, or data formats, Eagerness to learn quickly, both in technical expertise and in consulting/soft skills, Recent Degree or you are set to graduate in 2026 from a university Master Program related to: Geodesy and Cartography, Geoinformatics / Spatial Information Systems, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Spatial Management / Urban Planning (with a focus on GIS), Environmental Engineering (with a strong GIS component), Geography with a strong focus on GIS or similar programs, Hands-on experience with working with such softwares as Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, QGIS, ArcGIS, CloudCompare, Terrasolid or other relevant, Proficiency in conversion of various data formats (e.g., shapefile, LAS, GeoTIFF, KML, dwg, gpkg etc.), Very good command of the English language as well as interpersonal and communication skills (min. B2, C1 preferable) - essential in day-to-day cooperation with clients and the team, Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, Willingness to travel to various clients and countries globally (on-site or hybrid work model), Openness to international assignments and adapting to diverse work environments. Nice to have: Proficiency in German, Experience in planning and executing drone operations.
