Responsibilities: The SAP SD Senior Associate is responsible for leading the design, implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Sales and Distribution modules. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle and the ability to contribute effectively to project leadership tasks and collaborate with cross functional teams. Lead Project Implementation: Lead project activities for SAP SD implementations, enhancements, and rollouts, ensuring deliverables align with quality standards and timelines. Functional Expertise: Provide expert advice on best practices in SAP SD areas, including Sales Order Management, Pricing, Delivery, Billing, and Global Trade Management functionalities. Process Documentation & Analysis: Lead the gathering and documentation of detailed business requirements and functional specifications, ensuring clarity and detail for project teams. Conduct gap analyses to identify business needs and map them to SAP SD functionalities. Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee and participate in testing cycles (Unit, Integration, UAT) and support quality assurance efforts by validating deliverables against requirements. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with functional consultants from MM and FI/CO teams to ensure seamless cross-module integration and translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications. Mentorship & Improvement: Mentor junior consultants and stay updated on SAP SD functionalities and advancements, including S/4HANA Sales and Fiori applications, to enhance team skills and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 4-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD implementation and support, with involvement in various aspects of the project lifecycle. Core Functional Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP SD sub-modules and the O2C process, including: Customer and Material Master Data Management Complex Pricing Procedures and Condition Techniques Shipping Point, Route Determination, and Transportation Billing and Invoice Integration with FI Credit Management and Foreign Trade Technical Skills: Familiarity with cross-module integration (especially with MM and FI) and the ability to contribute to functional specifications and RICEFW development. Exposure to ABAP debugging is a plus. Modern SAP Knowledge: Understanding of S/4HANA Sales features and familiarity with SAP Fiori applications for enhanced user experiences. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proven leadership experience and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
