Together we can make a great impact for our clients at home and abroad, securing their lasting success and financial security.  Responsibilities In this role, you will act as a senior contributor within CB IB Operations Luxembourg, combining strong expertise in Payment Processing with sound understanding of regulatory, risk and control requirements. You will independently manage operational topics, support regulatory and audit-related activities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of payment and cash management processes. Support and oversee end-to-end payment processing activities, including complex cases, repairs and investigations. Act as a senior operational contributor to ensure stable, compliant, and well-controlled payment processes, applying risk and control principles and owning operational reviews, issue resolution, and continuous control improvement. Translate payment-related regulatory requirements into operational processes, controls and documentation. Act as an experienced operations counterpart for technology-driven changes, including new standards, system enhancements and UAT activities. Contribute to process optimisation, automation and STP improvements across payment and cash management operations. Serve as a point of reference for junior team members, supporting knowledge sharing and operational guidance. Work independently and proactive, demonstrating strong ownership and accountability. Skills Several years of hands-on experience in payment operations and/or cash management, with exposure to complex, non-standard cases. Proven ability to independently assess operational risks, identify control gaps and contribute to sustainable remediation. Strong understanding of payment processing architectures, including investigations and end-to-end dependencies. Practical experience translating payment-related regulatory or audit requirements into operational processes, controls and documentation. Sound knowledge of ISO 20022 standards and SWIFT-based payment environments. Confident working with banking systems and technology-driven processes, able to act as an operations counterpart in change initiatives (e.g. system upgrades, UAT). Demonstrates ability to work autonomously, prioritize effective and take ownership beyond day-to-day processing. Fluent in English required; German is an advantage.
