Job Description: Job Title: Operational Risk Management (ORM) - Business Functional Analyst - AVP Location: Pune, India Role Description You will be joining the Operational Risk Management (ORM) Technology team and will work as part of a multi-skilled agile squad, specializing in understanding, enhancing and expanding the ORM platform to identify operational risk and support reporting framework. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems, analyze large complex risk workflows and develop a deep understanding of the ORM risks and functions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of the data required for ORM systems. Your expertise in data analysis, management, and technology will be instrumental to understand Key Controls that are effective in mitigating risk, those that are ineffective, and where there are Control gaps. Work closely with developers and architects to design and implement solutions that meet business needs whilst ensuring that solutions are scalable, supportable and sustainable. Thinking analytically, with systematic and logical approach to solving complex problems with a and high attention to detail Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements, process flows, and user guides. Ensure that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders Be the voice of the customer when interacting with the development teams to ensure delivery is aligned to business requirements and expectations, Leading and collaborating across teams do run with and deliver multiple projects simultaneously. Employing data querying and analytical techniques to support the understanding of data and creation of reports and actionable intelligence. Your skills and experience Advanced analytical and problem-solving experience and ability to independently identify issues grasp new concepts, provide insights and solutions and oversee their delivery. Advanced knowledge of methods and tooling for business functional analysis Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL), ideally in a Cloud or Big Data environment, Excellent communication skills, written and oral, and strong experience authoring documents that will support development work. Able to demonstrate ability to perform business analysis in consultation with the business and product management and produce BRDs and technical specifications. Hands-on project experience of handling complex business requirement (i.e. Data Mapping, Data Modelling, and System integration) through to system level functional specifications Strong planning and highly organized with ability to prioritize key deliverables across several projects/workstreams. Self-motivated and flexibility to work autonomously coupled with ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations Ability to influence and motivate other team members and stakeholders through strong dialogue, facilitation and persuasiveness. Certified Scrum Product Owner Certification is desirable Able to act as a point of escalation on business knowledge/value/requirement for team members.
