Job Description: Job Title UK Head Listed Derivatives Execution and Core Trading Platforms Location London Corporate Title Vice President We are looking for a highly skilled reliability engineer to provide critical support for the Listed Derivatives Execution desk with their trading and risk applications, and provide oversight for core trading platforms including the algorithmic ultra low latency stack. In this role you will ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the real-time trading environment by applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles. You will lead highly motivated directly with key stakeholders on the trading floor including senior traders and lead developers to optimize trading workflows, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement in both processes and the environment. Leading root cause analysis and conduct blameless post-mortems Enhancing application health monitoring and implement automation to reduce manual intervention and improve system resilience Driving cost optimization and manage capacity resources to ensure efficient and scalable operations Partnering with development teams to design and deploy fault-tolerant, scalable solutions aligned with business goals Enforcing and adhering to change, incident, and problem management policies, as well as bank specific non-financial risk frameworks. Supporting the growth of junior team members and promote a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
