Job Description & Summary:    We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced   Data Engineer   with deep   expertise   in   dbt   Core ,   Jinja templating , and   modern data warehousing   (preferably Snowflake). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of   data modeling ,   transformation pipelines , and   dbt   internals , including   custom materializations   and   macros .   Responsibilities:     You will work on:   5–10 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles.   Strong hands-on experience with   dbt   Core   (not just   dbt   Cloud).   Must have 2-3 years strong Hands-On on   dbt   Core   Deep understanding of   dbt   internals, including how   dbt   compiles SQL, manages state, and executes runs.   Proficiency   in Jinja templating and writing custom macros.   Experience with custom materializations and advanced   dbt   configurations.   Solid understanding of data   modeling   concepts (star/snowflake schema, normalization/denormalization).   Proficient in   SQL   and performance tuning.   Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools like   dbt   Cloud/CLI, Git,   dbt   artifacts, and   dbt   tests.   Experience working in agile teams and collaborating across functions.     Primary Skills:   dbt   (Data Build Tool)   SQL   Data Modelling   Data   Warehouse experience     Secondary Skills:   Airflow (Workflow Orchestration)   Python (Scripting, Data Manipulation)   CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)   PL/SQL       Mandatory skill sets:   • dbt (Data Build Tool) • SQL • Data Modelling • Data Warehouse experience   Preferred skill sets:   • Airflow (Workflow Orchestration) • Python (Scripting, Data Manipulation) • CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.) • PL/SQL   Years of experience   required :    Experience    5- 10 years   Education qualification:   BE,   B.Tech , ME,   M,Tech , MBA, MCA (60% above )   Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study required: Master of Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Technology Degrees/Field of Study preferred: Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified) Required Skills Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Azure Analytics Services Optional Skills Accepting Feedback, Accepting Feedback, Active Listening, Agile Scalability, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Analytical Thinking, Apache Airflow, Apache Hadoop, Azure Data Factory, Communication, Creativity, Data Anonymization, Data Architecture, Database Administration, Database Management System (DBMS), Database Optimization, Database Security Best Practices, Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform, Data Engineering, Data Engineering Platforms, Data Infrastructure, Data Integration, Data Lake, Data Modeling, Data Pipeline {+ 27 more} Desired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified) Travel Requirements Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?
