Job Description To execute end-to-end delivery of sponsorships and events, activities and activations in line with requirements, set marketing objectives, budget and deadlines. Support implementation of business objectives by providing marketing expertise into the relevant channel marketing, sponsorships, advertising, events, merchandising and communications, or a mix thereof. Oversee the end-to-end delivery of sponsorships and/or events, running the communication and marketing campaign, activation on the ground and feedback against business objectives. Participate in sponsorship contract negotiation process, implement the rights and benefits of individual sponsorships, contract with sponsors, oversee delivery against agreed objectives and hold sponsors accountable. Maximise the commercial value of sponsorships and events against business objectives identified. Work in collaboration with relevant segments, stakeholders and business units to define, track and report on sponsorship/events objectives, KPIs, return on investment and return on sponsorship investment Design and deliver sponsorship/event experiences that drive meaningful interactions with clients to drive growth and support business goals. Propose and implement events/sponsorships to meet client requirements and source appropriate venue, décor, catering, ancillaries, and facilities for the planned event that is within budget. Adhere to the various marketing, sponsorship and event policies as set out by FNB. Evaluate briefs to determine alignment between business and marketing objectives. Develop plans to boost audience engagement and attendance for sponsorships and events for approval. Keep abreast of event/sponsorship industry trends and competitive market climates to recommend ways to leverage opportunities. Calculate and submit estimated event/sponsorship budget and presentations for approval. Create and update event/ sponsorship project plans to ensure all aspects are delivered. Ensure that events/ sponsorships deliverables and creatives are aligned to corporate identity (CI) guidelines. Manage the collection, capturing and maintenance of data as it pertains to event/ sponsorship management to guide critical business decisions. Compile and analyse results from pre and post event/sponsorship evaluations and submit reports to Manager to inform the execution plan of future events. Keep all stakeholders up to date on the status of the event/sponsorship and any changes to the original plan. Gather relevant market data and compile insights to inform decision making. Ensure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by organisation and review in response to audit findings and changes. Education & Experience Relevant Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing 5 years’ experience in a similar environment Marketing, Advertising including Digital. Media planning Brand building Campaign planning Understanding of usage of communication platforms and channels. Knowledge of events/sponsorship management and coordination.
