Operations and Client Services Our team supports and enables other domains in the Corporate Bank like liquidity management, payments, trade finance and lending to operate more efficiently and provide value to our clients more quickly. For this purpose, we are building a digital and automated Client Onboarding platform to grow revenue and reduce friction (costs/manual processes). The aim is to create a single product agnostic global Client Onboarding platform with self-service capability for the clients to request new deals and get setup quickly in order to transact. As a Senior Engineer (f/m/x), you will help us to shape the design and implementation of our platform and the applications that run on top of it. We are looking for a hands-on engineer with experience leading teams and interfacing with stakeholders to solve the complex operational challenges that Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank faces today. Your key responsibilities Implement end-to-end client service automations for corporate clients within Deutsche Bank Design, develop and document microservice-based & cloud-native application components in accordance with requirements specification Technical leadership for one of our development squads Write clear, maintainable and reusable code and take part in code reviews to ensure that features are developed at high quality standards Work in a cross disciplined agile team with shared responsibility and high autonomy Your skills and experiences Advanced proficiency in JVM-based backend development and distributed systems At least 8 years of overall technology experience, including as a technical lead Hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms, event-based architectures and DevOps Frontend engineering knowledge (React, TypeScript) a plus Experience working within Agile teams, applying iterative development and rapid feedback to continuously improve solutions What we offer We provide you with a comprehensive portfolio of benefits and offerings to support both, your private and professional needs.
