Cairo, Egypt (On-Site) Responsibilities : System Administrator with Database Expertise Develop, manage, and optimize SQL databases, including writing and maintaining T-SQL scripts and stored procedures. Ensure database performance, security, and availability. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. Provide technical assistance on Automated Fare Collection System in operation. Solve problems in a persistent and systematic fashion, taking lead on defect analysis and be hands-on with troubleshooting exercises. Monitor the Automated Fare Collection System in production and manage bug tracking using tools such as TFS. Acts as the technical interface to support the deployment of a complex Automated Fare Collection System in production. Install, configure, and maintain system hardware and software. Provide technical support to operation and maintenance teams. Deploy and maintain security measures Perform server administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies); research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly. Stay up to date on the latest technology trends. Key Communication: Regular communications with the operation team. Regular communication with the System Administrator Manager around maintenance and performance of the System Administration. Requirements: 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator. Strong understanding of Windows, operating systems. Experience with networking protocols and technologies. Experience with complex computing technologies like Hyper converged IT. Experience with virtualization technologies. Experience with systems performance-monitoring tools. Experience in SQL database administration. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
