Job Description: Job Title: QA Engineer Location: Bangalore, India Corporate Title: AVP Role Description As a QA with Scrum Master and DevOps expertise, you will facilitate Agile practices, ensure high-quality deliverables through effective QA processes, gather and translate business requirements, and contribute to DevOps and release management. Ensure the team follows Agile practices and principles. Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Quality Assurance (QA): Understand and analyse requirements to create detailed test scenarios. Execute test cases and help in regression testing. Identify, document, and track bugs. Business Analysis (BA): Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements. Translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories. Assist in creating and maintaining product backlogs. DevOps and Release Management: Contribute to environment stability and manage change requests. Assist in release planning and execution. Ensure smooth deployment and integration of new releases. Team Collaboration: Promote open communication and transparency within the team. Encourage team members to share knowledge and support each other. Facilitate effective collaboration between cross-functional teams. Act as a liaison between the development team and other stakeholders. Support team members in their professional growth and development. Your skills and experience Experience: 4-8 years of relevant experience in QA, BA, and DevOps roles. Quality Assurance (QA): Strong experience in QA, including creating test scenarios and executing test cases. Ability to identify, document, and track bugs effectively. Business Analysis (BA): Proven ability to perform BA tasks, including requirement gathering and documentation. Experience in translating business needs into technical requirements and user stories. Scrum Master: Proven experience as a Scrum Master. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL queries to query data. Experience with Python/Java scripting/Java and Cucumber framework/Selenium. DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. General: Excellent logical and analytical skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to quickly understand and build end-to-end system knowledge. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
