Job Description To manage the reporting of existing and new credit regulatory legislations, standards and guidelines and ensure the bank is always fully compliant with submissions of credit statutory returns to the central bank and FirstRand group regulatory governing bodies. Manage the timely production, coordination, review, preparation, and submission of credit related financial and economic regulatory returns Support the collation of monthly regulatory reporting by planning, coordinating, facilitating, and assisting with the submission across multiple stakeholders in the bank Manage the submission of central bank credit statistics surveys Plan and coordinate ad-hoc regulatory reporting changes, new requirements, and projects Perform scenario analysis of credit regulatory inputs into the Internal capital adequacy assessment Manage systems and processes required for successful compilation and submission of regulatory returns Lead in the automation of existing data extraction and collation methods Review team output to provide useful and insightful information. Lead and develop the Credit regulatory reporting analysts (typically 2–3 analyst Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in: Statistics, Finance, Econometrics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Computer science, or a related quantitative field. 3 - 5 years’ experience in a data and credit regulatory reporting environment, of which 1 - 2 years ideally at a specialist level Competencies: Solid understanding of Basel credit regulatory frameworks and local regulatory guidelines Solid understanding of credit risk and IFRS9 regulations and standards (PD, LGD, EAD, staging, cure, wite-offs) Advanced data analysis and interpretation skills across very large, granular data sets Coding ability with ability to design efficient and auditable data extraction models Strong data governance, reconciliation and control design capability Strong planning, prioritisation, and delivery management skills Ability to lead and develop junior data analysts Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to engage credibly with auditors #Post #FNBBotswana #LI-RN1 Job Details Take note that applications will not be accepted on the below date and onwards, kindly submit applications ahead of the closing date indicated below.   23/02/26 All appointments will be made in line with FirstRand Group’s Employment Equity plan.
